Lil’ Dribblers - this program is designed for children who are in Kindergarten.  These children will meet once a week for 9 weeks on Saturday Mornings.  The main focus is to teach the grassroots basics of basketball such as passing, dribbling, shooting, and defense.  While actual basketball games are not played, there will be several basketball skills and drills being utilized to prepare these players for the Shooting Stars Program. The season runs from the first weekend in January to the last weekend in February. REGISTRATION CLOSED FOR THE 2023-2024 BASKETBALL SEASON.

Shooting Stars - this program is designed for children who are in 1st/2nd Grade with little basketball experience, and it is a great next step for the children who were a part of the Lil’ Dribblers Program. Basketball Sessions will be held once a week on Saturday Mornings. The first half of the season, the children will practice with their teams at their session. In the second half of the season, our teams will be introduced to “games”.  Actual “games” will be played against other On Mission Teams as well as teams from the local community. 3rd/4th Grade Program - this program is designed for children who are in 3rd/4th Grade with some basketball experience. Practices will be held at least once a week (sometimes twice) for a couple of weeks leading up to the 10 week game season, and the players will practice at least once a week and play one game on the weekends once the season starts.  The teams in this program will play games against other On Mission Teams as well as teams from the local community. The On Mission Basketball Leadership Team will research the best league to put these teams in. The practice season starts in the middle of November with games starting in January. The season ends at the end of February/beginning of March. REGISTRATION CLOSED FOR THE 2023-2024 BASKETBALL SEASON.

5th/6th Grade Program - this program is designed for children who are in 5th/6th Grade with some basketball experience. Practices will be held at least once a week (sometimes twice) for six weeks leading up to the 9 week game season, and the players will practice at least once a week and play one game on the weekends once the season starts.  The teams in this program will play games against other On Mission Teams as well as teams from the local community. The On Mission Basketball Leadership Team will research the best league to put these teams in. The practice season starts in the middle of November with games starting in January. High School Program - this program is designed for children who are in High School with some basketball experience. These children will meet at least 24 (up to 30) times through the 15 week basketball season. Practices will be held at least once a week (sometimes twice) for six weeks leading up to the 9 week game season, and the players will practice at least once a week and play one game on the weekends once the season starts. The teams in this program will play games against other On Mission Teams as well as teams from the local community. The On Mission Basketball Leadership Team will research the best league to put these teams in. The practice season starts in the middle of November with games starting in January.
